Robert Herbst AP, Dipl. OM is a licensed acupuncturist with over 15 years of experience in South Florida. He is passionate about helping his patients achieve their health and wellness goals through the power of acupuncture and holistic medicine.

He is nationally board certified in Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine – Diplomate in Oriental Medicine – by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Robert earned his degree in acupuncture from the esteemed Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine (ATOM), an affiliate program of Shanghai University in Shanghai, China, where he received extensive training in both acupuncture and herbal medicine. During his education at ATOM, Robert earned the following awards: Student of the Year Award (2006-2007), the Frank C. Lu Scholarship Award (2007), and the President’s Award (2007).

He has also received advanced continuing education and training focusing on acupuncture for infertility treatment and IVF / IUI / FET Support with many leaders in the reproductive field, including Jane Lyttleton, Giovanni Maciocia, Lee Hullender Rubin, Irina Szmelskyj, Lianne Aquilina, and Randine Lewis.

Locally, Robert has interned with his mentor, the highly respected Dr. Fu Di (MD China), for 2+ years focusing on acupuncture and herbal formula preparation for infertility and women’s health issues, pain management, psychological conditions, and autoimmune disease. This experience has allowed him to develop a deep understanding of how traditional herbal medicine can be used to address complex health conditions.

His approach to acupuncture is patient-centered and holistic. He believes in treating the whole person, not just their symptoms. He works with his patients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and health concerns.
